Members of a rescue team from the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases conduct a drill with an evacuation chamber at an airport in Martinsburg, West Virginia. These chambers are airtight, can be sterilized on the outside, and are used to quarantine and move people exposed to infectious agents, such as smallpox.
