Hurricane Wilma remains the most powerful Atlantic hurricane on record, with winds that hit 185 miles an hour (298 kilometers an hour). This image, taken by a crew member of the International Space Station, shows the killer storm on October 19, 2005, as it churned over the Caribbean Sea on its way to Mexico's Yucatán Peninsula.
